WELCOME TO LIFE IN ARMENIA

Life in Armenia is a two times award-winning monthly magazine in English launched in January 2023 that promotes Armenia as an emerging destination for digital nomads and remote workers.


The magazine covers a range of topics relevant to those considering relocation, including visa requirements, tax conditions, the tech startup ecosystem, cultural aspects, healthcare, education, children's opportunities, and more.


Local and international professionals with personal experiences in Armenia contribute articles and interviews to enrich the magazine's content with diverse perspectives.

MY STORY WITH LIFE IN ARMENIA

I’m Mathew Zein, a professional interviewer and journalist. I’m also the founder and chief editor of Life in Armenia magazine. 


I used to be a digital nomad, traveling the world and working remotely from different cities. However, a brief vacation in Armenia in 2016 changed everything. From day one, my wife and I fell under Armenia’s imperfectly perfect charm and instantly knew we wanted to settle here. 


Having fallen in love with the country, we decided to start a family. In 2022, we welcomed our first child. Shortly after, in 2023, I started “Life in Armenia,” hoping to inspire others to consider Armenia their next and maybe final destination in their digital nomad journey. 


With over 40million digital nomads traveling the globe, Armenia has all the makings to become a remote work hub capable of competing with other popular digital nomad destinations worldwide. 


Our community grew to over 28,000 engaged readers in less than four years, and we achieved key milestones way ahead of schedule.
